These ink paintings are created using alcohol ink on a very smooth and therefore not too absorbent surface. This allows for the easy flow and rapid drying of the surface creating nuances of color not easily  created in other mediums. Because of its rapid flow the ink often exhibits a mind of it own creating unexpected results….often referred to as happy accidents.
